Well we have gone to aid the weary 4 Friday’s now and constantly see new faces from new places! There are however many men that continue to return to provide equipment (really big stuff), knowledge and expertise. What fabulous people! Thank you everyone! Dear friend, Helping Others Helping Joplin, MO Caring people traveled from the North, South, East and West to help others they didn’t even know. Many that volunteered said they felt so drawn to come to Joplin, they pushed their own lives aside. Volunteers helped repair roofs, clear debris, and sorted donations all in sweltering 100 degree heat. Although the landscape was horrific, the compassionate support and friendly faces of the volunteers touched many. We wanted to do our part to help the overwhelmed residents and seemingly tireless volunteers that gave so much. So in June, on Fridays, we offered several forms of therapeutic massage and Eternale Rejuvenation sessions to all. […]
